Professional lady shogi player Madoka Kitao resigns on her membership of The ladies professional Shogi-players' association of Japan (LPSA). Kitao will play on freelance position.
It is a really shocking news. I know the news on the Internet this evening. I don't have the details. And I can't judge her decision yet. But there are little good news in the shogi world these days.
